Fumi Abe is a Japanese-American stand-up comedian based in New York City by way of Columbus, Ohio. His comedy has been featured on Rooftop Comedy, MTV Decoded, and Seriously.TV.

Drawing inspiration from his experience growing up in the Midwest as an immigrant, Fumi slings jokes about family, being a millennial, his white girlfriend, and everything else in between. 

In 2017, Fumi was selected as a semi-finalist at the Stand Up NBC competition. He also placed 2nd out of 60 comedians in the 2017 Devil Cup Comedy Competition. In addition, he has performed at various comedy festivals across the country such as Hell Yes Fest, Boston Comedy Festival, and was part of the Audible.com Fresh Voices Showcase at SF Sketchfest. 

Fumi is also a co-producer of Nothing Important!, a monthly comedy show in Brooklyn that was recently featured on Time Out New York as "One of The Best Comedy Shows in NYC".
